Riccardo Cirri, the Leather Craftsman
Craftsman of Leather for Bags
My name is Riccardo Cirri and I am a Tuscan leather craftsman and the owner of Vargas Garage 642. It is my hands that, every day, create bags and accessories for motorcycles.
I decided to open my artisan workshop in 2013 with my family, after a long experience in the leather goods industry as a designer and pattern maker of women's handbags.
I turned my passion as a handbag leather craftsman into a magnificent job. I call myself the motorcycle tailor because I "dress" two-wheelers with custom bags, accessories and custom seats that make them unique, functional and beautiful.
"The only way to do great work is to love what you do."
Steve Jobs
In pursuit of harmony
In my leather craft workshop, I leave nothing to chance because it is the small details that make my items truly beautiful. My creations are meant to be an extension of the motorcycle itself. For this reason, I spend a lot of time observing the design of the motorcycle's lines: this is an activity that not only inspires me, but it helps me immensely in the custom design of each bag. Every curve, every line, every distinctive element is designed and made with the utmost precision so that it blends perfectly with the design of the motorcycle. It is my way of celebrating the beauty of iron and turning it into a work of art on two wheels.
Fine Italian-Made Products
I am a leather craftsman by trade, and my creations represent the ultimate expression of Italian-made products: from design to raw material. The choice of leather is the starting point of my creative process because it is the fundamental variable on which the durability and appearance of the final product depend. As an artisan leather handbag craftsman, I have turned to the best Tuscan tanneries for years to purchase the Italian leather that brings my creations to life. This is a top-grade leather that gives a touch of luxury and distinctiveness to motorcycles.
